Zara Beige Leather Motorcycle Jacket Size M

I've been looking for a leather jacket for years now; I really wanted a chic black one that I'd imagine casually throwing over any outfit as I headed out the door ... but every time I'd try one on it would look so silly. Like I was trying to look tough, or like a kid in her big brother's motorcycle jacket. It just wasn't me! Not to be discouraged, I finally settled on a really gorgeous, buttery leather jacket from my beloved Zara in a versatile beige; it looked little more subtle on me than the black. Of course, it's still not really me, and I've only worn it once (and please note, I did very delicately remove the label, I have included a photo of where it was below.) I fell so in love with this full-length brown wool Kenneth Cole coat; it has just the right amount of military styling, and it's perfectly sophisticated and warm and perfect for the winter. And of course, it's been hanging in my closet because I'm always running around here, there, and everywhere and I never think to grab such a beautiful long coat for fear that it will get dirty. But this coat deserves to be worn and enjoyed, it's so flattering and elegant on! It's a size 6, made of wool with a touch of nylon for durability, and is fully lined. Tony Cohen Deep V-Neck Cotton Dress

Dutch fashion designer Tony Cohen has slowly been working his way into the U.S. market, with select items available at Zoe in Brooklyn and online at Shopbop and Revolve. Every time I go home to visit family in Holland, I'm so excited to stop in at his boutique in Amsterdam to say hello to his very lovely wife and to see what's new. A couple of summers ago, I bought this blush-colored flutter sleeve bubble dress, which features a deep v-neck and front pockets. I love it but it's a little more feminine than I normally dress, so I haven't really worn it. It's a European size 2 (M) and I'd guess it would work for a size 6 or 8. (It looks extremely full in the photos, but that's because I bloused it out; the bottom half does have some volume due to the bubble hem, but with the structured top and delicate fabric it's really not unflattering.) French designer Isabel Marant is known for her minimalist, bohemian clothing, and this fabulous tunic top is no exception. A perfect balance between a tailored jacket and a slouchy top, this wool/linen blend pullover is structured in all the right places, with small pockets in the front. Incredibly unique and versatile, it was originally $435 at Bird in Brooklyn; I'm practically giving it away for $75 plus shipping. The top is in almost-new condition with just a tiny fabric catch on the inside of the front opening where there was a small snap closure. (It's hardly noticeable but would be easy to fix or you could take it to a tailor to have them attach whatever closure you'd like: snap, hook, even a button.) The size is a European 2, which would make it about a medium; I guess it would be good for sizes 4, 6, and 8. The top is fairly roomy and hits at the upper hip. MinkPink White Eyelet-Detail Dress

Australia-based MinkPink makes lovely fashion-forward clothes that are quite affordable and always a fun addition to your closet. I bought this white eyelet-trim batwing dress in a size M at Coclico on Mott Street, one of my favorite boutiques in New York City, but because it's a little short on my 5' 10" frame, I haven't worn it. The dress comes with a white fabric belt that you can use to tie it like a tunic to be worn over jeans, else of course it works well as a sexy dress, especially if you're a bit shorter than I am.
